The Baby Fold: Helping Families in Need

July 17, 2012

Created in 1902, The Baby Fold is a nonprofit charitable organization that applies Christian principles to help needy families. Founded by Nancy Mason, the organization began as a faith-based orphanage. Since then, it has become an agency capable of aiding between 1,000 and 3,000 families across the United States every year through special education programs, adoption, foster care, and other services.

Over the past century, The Baby Fold has focused its attention on the pressing issues facing children of the day. While the group originally concerned itself with orphan trains, today it discovers ways to assist youth with autism and behavioral issues. Affiliated with the United Methodist Association and United Way Worldwide, The Baby Fold also holds accreditation from the Hague Adoption Convention and Healthy Families America.
